Frequently Asked Questions

Delaware has implemented a 4% tax on the gross value of all short term rentals, defined as rentals of 30 days or less.  This tax will be automatically collected by our intermediary, Vacasa.  Our Delaware permit number through Vacasa is 2024712698.

We accept bookings via our Vacasa listings (available on each property page).  Longer term rentals may be handled directly.Email us with your dates to find out more. 

Vacasa automatically adds insurance to every booking to cover minor issues.  When booking directly with us, we ask for a small refundable security deposit.  We want to keep our rentals clean and pristine!

Our Single Family Home and our Grande at Canal Pointe condo both have a 7 night minimum year round.  

Our Vacasa.com listings include fees which are detailed before you book.  These include a cleaning fee,  linen fee,  pet fee where applicable, as well as Vacasa's automated listing fees. When you book directly,  all fees are included in the quoted price.

Check in time is 4pm; check out is 10 am to ensure we have enough time to properly clean each unit.

We try to provide as much flexibility as possible. Vacasa includes free 24 hour cancellation,  and refund of payment less certain booking fees if you cancel more than 30 days prior to your stay.  When booking directly, we will typically include a 30 day no cost cancellation clause.

Each rental is fully and comfortably furnished,  has a fully stocked kitchen, includes bath and bed linens,  free parking, and beach chairs. 

We live locally, but we also employ Rehoboth based property managers who are on call throughout your stay for any property emergencies.  This includes a 24 hour emergency line.  Of course for any real emergency don't hesitate to call 911!
